Chair Mechanisms

Traditional Tilt

A tilting mechanism where the back and seat are fixed and the pivot is towards the rear of the chair.

Knee Tilt

A tilting mechanism where the back and seat are fixed and the pivot is towards the front of the chair.

1 Lever

A very basic mechanism that only allows for seat height adjustment.

2 Lever

Similar to the 1 lever mechanism with an extra lever to adjust the back rake.

3 Lever

The same as the 2 lever but with an extra lever to adjust the seat tilt.


The seat and back of the chair tilt together at a predefined ratio.

Chair Adjustments

Seat Height

The seat height of the chair can be adjusted up and down to fit the user.

Seat Tilt
