Under desk filing cabinets, pedestals and filing cabinets
This page brings together pedestals that sit under or beside a desk and floor-standing filing cabinets. Most of these need no assembly, and many are marked for next working day delivery.
Under the desk, beside it, or on its own?
A mobile pedestal rolls on castors and slides under the desk, with 2 or 3 drawers. A desk-high pedestal stands at the end of the desk at the same height and comes 600mm or 800mm deep, so you can match your desk. A filing cabinet stands on its own and holds the most, with 2, 3 or 4 drawers. For drawers only, see our office pedestals and under desk drawers.
Wood or steel?
The wooden cabinets and pedestals come in white, beech, oak and grey oak to match our desks. The Workwise steel filing cabinets come in black, grey or white. See wooden filing cabinets or metal filing cabinets.
Delivery and returns
Standard delivery is free to most of England, Scotland and Wales; the Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland and some other postcodes carry a surcharge (delivery policy). Anything marked Next Day Delivery can arrive the next working day if it is in stock and ordered before the cut-off on its page.
Returns from home customers are accepted within 30 days of delivery when the cabinet is unused, unassembled and boxed as it came, less the collection charge. Business customers pay a 15% restocking fee as well as collection (returns policy).
Questions about under desk filing cabinets
Will a filing cabinet fit under my desk?
Check the height on the product page against the space under your desk top. Most desks are 720 to 730mm high, and the top and frame take some of that space. Mobile pedestals are made to slide under a desk.
Can I buy a desk with a filing cabinet?
Yes. Our desk bundles pair a desk with a 2 or 3 drawer pedestal in a matching finish.
How quickly can I get one?
Those marked Next Day Delivery arrive the next working day when in stock and ordered before the cut-off on the product page.
