Office storage by type
Cupboards
Wooden office cupboards and metal office cupboards, from 730mm desk-high units to cupboards 2140mm tall. Tambour cupboards have a roller door that slides aside, so they need less space in front to open.
Bookcases
Wooden office bookcases for files, binders and books, desk high up to 2 metres.
Filing cabinets and pedestals
Office filing cabinets with 2, 3 or 4 drawers, and office pedestals that sit under or beside a desk. Our under desk filing cabinets page has both together. Many of our storage pieces, mainly the filing cabinets and pedestals, need no assembly.
How to choose office storage
What are you storing?
Files you use every day belong in a pedestal or filing cabinet near the desk. Binders and reference books suit open bookcases. Stationery, samples and anything you want out of sight go in a cupboard with doors.
Wood or steel?
Storage comes in white, oak, beech and grey oak, the same finishes as our desks. Steel cupboards and filing cabinets come in grey, black, white or silver, depending on the range.
Storage for a home office
Desk-high cupboards and bookcases, 730mm to 816mm tall, fit beside a home desk or under a window, and a mobile pedestal slides under the desk. See also our home office furniture.
Furnishing an office?
For 5 or more units, or a mix of products for one project, our friendly team will price the whole order: call 0344 755 3018 or send us your list.
Delivery and returns
Standard delivery is free to most of England, Scotland and Wales; the Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland and some other postcodes carry a surcharge (delivery policy). Anything marked Next Day Delivery can arrive the next working day if it is in stock and ordered before the cut-off on its page.
Returns from home customers are accepted within 30 days of delivery when the piece is unused, unassembled and boxed as it came, less the collection charge. Business customers pay a 15% restocking fee as well as collection (returns policy).
Questions about office storage
Can I get office storage next day?
Yes. Pieces marked Next Day Delivery arrive the next working day when in stock and ordered before the cut-off. Our next day delivery office storage page lists them.
Will the storage match my desk?
Our wooden storage uses the same finish names as our desks: white, beech, oak and grey oak.
What is a tambour cupboard?
A cupboard with a roller door made of slats, which slides sideways or up instead of swinging out. It suits a narrow room or a corridor.
