Cantilever or swivel?
Most boardroom chairs here sit on a cantilever frame, usually chrome: no castors, so they stay where you put them round the table and look smart from the doorway. The Avanti and Aura medium back chairs swivel on a five-star chrome base instead, which suits long meetings where people turn to a screen.
Leather, bonded leather or faux leather
The Carter and Desire use soft bonded leather, the Hallmark bonded leather, and the Canasta II and Pavia faux leather or PU. All wipe clean. The Fleet is a high back leather-faced cantilever armchair for the head of the table.
How many hours?
Meeting chairs are rated for shorter sittings than desk chairs. The Hallmark cantilever is rated for 3 to 5 hours and the Pavia for up to 8. If the room doubles as a workspace, choose a swivel chair or one of our conference chairs rated for a full day.

How delivery and returns work
Most UK postcodes get free standard delivery; the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Channel Islands and a short list of other postcodes are charged, and our delivery policy lists them. Next Day Delivery items reach you the next working day if you order before the cut-off, subject to stock.
Changed your mind? Our returns policy gives you 30 days from delivery to send back anything unused, unassembled and in its original packaging. We collect it, and the collection charge is taken from your refund; business customers pay a 15% restocking fee as well.

How do I choose chairs for a boardroom?
Match the chairs to the table and the length of your meetings. Cantilever chairs suit short meetings and a formal look; swivel chairs suit long sessions. Measure the table edge per person and compare it with the seat width on the product page.
Are leather boardroom chairs real leather?
Most are bonded leather or faux leather, which wipe clean. The Fleet is leather faced. Each product page names its material.
Do boardroom chairs stack?
