Oak desks for the office and home
This page holds every desk we sell in an oak finish: light and mid oak, grey oak, and the darker oaks some makers offer. Most have a 25mm oak-finish top, heat and stain resistant, on a white, silver or black steel frame. A compact 800mm desk works as an oak computer desk at home; the 1600mm and 1800mm corner desks give a manager room for a screen and paperwork side by side.
Matching the rest of the room

How delivery and returns work
Most UK postcodes get free standard delivery; the Scottish Highlands and islands, Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, the Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Channel Islands and a short list of other postcodes are charged, and our delivery policy lists them. Next Day Delivery items reach you the next working day if you order before the cut-off, subject to stock.
Larger items travel on a pallet with a tail lift and are delivered to the kerbside, on a level, hard surface. If you want them carried in, choose room of choice delivery, or delivery and installation, at checkout where it is offered: a two-person team brings them to the room, and with installation they also build them and take the packaging away.
You can return an item within 30 days of delivery if it is unused, unassembled and in its original packaging. We arrange the collection and the collection charge comes off your refund. Business customers also pay a 15% restocking fee. Our returns policy has the details.
Made-to-order items work differently: you can cancel within 24 hours of ordering, and after that we can only take them back if they are faulty or not as described.

Common questions
How do I choose an oak office desk?
Start with the space: measure the width you have and allow room to pull the chair out. Then choose the shape (straight, corner or crescent) and the frame colour. Most oak desks here come in several widths, chosen on the product page.
Is the oak real wood?
Most are an oak finish on a 25mm board top, which resists heat and stains. Some of the bench ranges are made to order with other top options, so check the product page for each desk.
Can I get an oak desk with cable management?
Yes. Nearly all our desks have integrated cable ports, and cable trays and power modules are sold separately in cable management.
